A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?

Nadine is all about trying to see if people are going to be a problem for her or an asset. Kalena has the business savvy and persistence to make her a pretty big problem or a great potential asset. Also, Kalena's a good looking woman. Even though she's straight, that probably wouldn't stop her from piquing Nadine's interest. Even if she didn't make a play for Kalena, she'd still be nice to look at haha.
Nadine is a little shifty about the town's finances. She covers her tracks well, but she wouldn't want to make enemies of someone that might sense something's not quite right. So making nice with Kalena would definitely be in Nadine's best interests. I'd imagine she'd try to be subtle about it - up to you whether you want to see right through her or see how things go. We can scheme and chat more...excited to hear what you think.
Love it! I think Kalena is distracted enough at this point by teaching and cheerleading that she wouldn't see through what Nadine is doing. There is no doubt that she recognizes flirting--she's too vain not to--and while she wouldn't reciprocate it she would definitely be flattered by it (and would perhaps toy just for the sake of engaging a powerful woman of the town). I like the thought that their engagements are still too new for Nadine to determine whether Kalena's a problem or an asset. I think Kalena herself is still determining how invested she intends to be in everything, considering her daughter is her first priority. Her appointment as family rep is fresh and was unexpected.
For now, let's simply call them friends, though we can hash out those details.
Kalena is definitely smoking hot and while Milo is not a great student I can see him making sure he never missed her class. He wouldn't always be on time, partly because he likes how she looks when she gets mad at him, but he certainly wouldn't miss a chance to check out that sweet booty when she's writing on the blackboard. She might be one of the only teachers who could really put him in his place. "Yes ma'am"

I feel like it's likely that Brooks would be taking a class from Kalena at the Community College. Despite his 'party on the weekends' behavior, he's very respectful during the daylight hours, especially to teachers/adults. I'm not sure there'd be anything in particular about the two of them more than just a teacher/good student but ya!
