03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
TRAITS & FACTS: Likes: Tiktok, getting attention, tattoos, piercings, wearing jewelry, taking risks, longboarding, rock/punk/metal music Dislikes: Authority figures (especially cops), being underestimated or undervalued, being made to feel small, snow Strengths: Fun to be around, easy to get along with, sticks up for the little guy Weaknesses: Unmotivated, rebellious against authority, fear of abandonment.
CURRENT INFORMATION: Milo displays a variety of different personality traits depending on who he is around. His friends see the truest version of himself, followed by his peers. When he feels truly able to be himself he is fun and outgoing, always looking for an adventure or some trouble to get into. He is rebellious and a thrill seeker and gets a high out of taking risks, often dangerous. He fights against teachers and other authority figures regularly and is a slacker in school, finding the monotony of school to be incredibly draining.
His father is obsessed with the supernatural which Milo thinks is embarrassing. He's also abusive so Milo spends as little time at home as he possibly can and often sneaks out late at night. At his core he will fight to the death for the people he cares about and who care about him but he has a strong fear that people will abandon him at any moment.

One thing I can't stand is finding trash outside of the trash can. Don't tell me that guy's name--I don't want to know. Just tell me when he's leaving this town. If he comes around me I'll make sure he knows how I feel. In fact, I may have already done that in passing when I was in high school. Why bother wasting time talking to freshmen trash? If you say the right thing you just might be able to clean them up before they get their mess all over the rest of the town. Enemies? Yeah, sure. I wouldn't blink if he died tomorrow. - Price

Can I a have a high school friend / unrequited crush? My preference is that Milo probably guessed Angel was into him but they're friends anyway. Also, I would love a thread if you were up for it! But I also want a thread with Jack so whatever is easier for you.
Any thoughts about likes/dislikes about each other? We got skating in common and I'm happy to get digs on how he's from a rich family because he hasn't come to terms with it yet. Anything about Milo you'd like Angel to know / not know / have an opinion on...?
LOVE this idea! I like that Milo has guessed Angel's feelings but hasn't pushed him away or anything. I want to say they probably became friends pretty quickly after Angel moved to town. I can definitely see Milo playfully teasing him about being a rich Hollifield kid in spite of not acting like it. I think that would be something that Milo likes about him actually.
They definitely have skating in common, that'll be fun. Also piercings. I can see Milo trying to encourage Angel to get more piercings or a tattoo or something. (Actually that triggered a thought on a specific thing he might suggest lol). Both easy-going and social, I can see them at a lot of parties together. I like the idea of playing off of Milo being a bad influence and regularly prodding Angel to do things he might not regularly do - drinking, parties, tattoos, weed, sneaking into off limits areas, etc.
Things that Angel would know about Milo: He would know all about Milo's dad - both that he's obsessed with the supernatural and that he's abusive. Maybe Milo has stayed at Angel's house a couple times when he didn't want to go home, has probably seen Milo with various bruises. Angel has almost certainly noticed that in spite of Milo not working a traditional job anywhere he's got more money to spend these days. He's probably noticed that there have been more times when Milo couldn't hang out too. Milo has actually started pulling in money by sleeping with older/married women for payment, Angel wouldn't know that yet but I'd love for him to find out about it.
Let me know what of that does/doesn't work for you and I'd LOVE a thread! I'm game for one with both Jack and Milo if you're up for it!
