A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?

Notable features: Pierced nose and several tattoos. Most notable tattoos are: A hummingbird on his neck, butterflies on the back of his hand, a butterfly on his upper arm, and a rose on the first metatarsal of his middle finger.
PERSONALITY
Likes: Tiktok, getting attention, tattoos, piercings, wearing jewelry, taking risks, longboarding, rock/punk/metal music Dislikes: Authority figures (especially cops), being underestimated or undervalued, being made to feel small, snow Strengths: Fun to be around, easy to get along with, sticks up for the little guy Weaknesses: Unmotivated, rebellious against authority, fear of abandonment.
General personality: Milo displays a variety of different personality traits depending on who he is around. His friends see the truest version of himself, followed by his peers. When he feels truly able to be himself he is fun and outgoing, always looking for an adventure or some trouble to get into. He is rebellious and a thrill seeker and gets a high out of taking risks, often dangerous. He fights against teachers and other authority figures regularly and is a slacker in school, finding the monotony of school to be incredibly draining.
When he is at home things are quite different. He is quiet and submissive, inwardly fuming and outwardly cowering from his father. He spends as little time at home as he possibly can and often sneaks out late at night.
When he is working, well, that’s not something he openly talks about.
At his core he will fight to the death for the people he cares about and who care about him but he has a strong fear that people will abandon him at any moment.
HISTORY
Education: Senior in High School Years in Sweetwater: 5 Family Members: Charlie Laurent (Father) | Diana Laurent (Mother- Not in Sweetwater)
General History: Milo’s childhood was not exactly a happy one. He has a vague memory of him and his parents having a picnic when everyone was happy and smiling and enjoying each other, but it’s so far in the past he’s not even sure if it’s a real memory or just imagined.
Born to Charlie and Diana Laurent, they always struggled to makes ends meat. Diana was the sole provider and caretaker while Charlie wasted his days away on his ‘research’. After an incident while camping, Charlie had become convinced that Bigfoot was real and his need to prove it became an obsession, soon morphing into the adamant belief of almost anything that’s typically unexplainable. His favorite subjects beyond Bigfoot are aliens, Slenderman, and time traveling.
Diana eventually just reached a breaking point and when Milo was 12, an age she deemed old enough to take care of himself, she simply walked out of the house one day and never came back. Charlie hardly seemed to even notice and a year later he moved him and his son to the small town of Sweetwater where Charlie had heard rumors of supernatural occurrences.
Time at home soon became near unbearable for Milo. When his father wasn’t ignoring his existence he was shouting at him for every minor mistake or imperfection. When the shouting became physical punishment Milo started staying away from home as much as he could. He wandered the town and made friends with the kids in the trailer park that they lived in.
Finally feeling tired of the intense poverty in which he lived, Milo started to take part time jobs here and there since he turned 16. Around his 18th birthday he quit all those jobs but almost immediately began to start bringing in enough cash that it was noticeable to those around him that for the first time he has real money to spend. He doesn’t explain how he gets the money, but he’s too enamored with his new financial freedom to stop any time soon.
