03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?

JACK HOLLIFIELD
36
SINGLE
HETEROSEXUAL
Jack is generally really easy to get along with. He likes people and encourages others to pursue their passions. While he can come across as a little 'devil may care' he truly does care about his job and his students. He is a bit of health nut and prefers to eat a lot of organic, unprocessed foods and goes running on a daily basis. He avoids dairy completely.
While he does have his own personal 'rules' in life, he is far from being a stick in the mud. He's a fun guy who is quick to offer a smile and words of praise and values the idea of enjoying life, which is why he takes such good care of himself, so he can live longer to enjoy it.

Greetings from the other side of the moral divide! Nadine is all about preserving her power and influence. Her approach to leadership is all about absolute authority, not about cultivating relationships. I think she'd definitely see Jack's upward mobility and likable nature as a threat, and that she would want to do everything she could to undermine him. I'd also imagine that Nadine's tendency to use her position for her own personal gain would be an issue for Jack. Given he's the dean/principle and she's councilwoman, they'll have to work together at some point.
Maybe he suspects a high school student could be her drug hook up? Even if Jack had a hint of suspicion, I'd imagine that'd be a big ole problem. Happy to chat more and do some scheming...*dramatic music plays*
So Jack actually wouldn't have an issue with Nadine using her position for her own personal gain. Jack is fairly self-centered himself though he's good at coming across differently to others. He might not outwardly praise her for 'abusing' her position of authority but he wouldn't have a problem with it unless it negatively affected him directly.
He'd certainly play nice due to her position as councilwoman as well. Is it well know she's using drugs? I can see him maybe suspecting that it could be one of his students but again, he's really more in the gray area of morality than people think he is and I don't think he'd do anything to stop that from happening.
I think they would certainly know each other fairly well as they're both family reps and would have had several meetings together at this point. I can see him more being the kind of guy to help her cover up any misdeeds rather than butting heads against her.

As far as Jack Hollifield knows, I'm a saint. I never got in trouble at school. He may have heard rumors about things I did but if you don't have evidence you can't convict. I'm always a real chap in his presence. He probably loves me. - Price
