The aroma of Munchies Burgers slapped Bianca in the face full force as she slid inside, her nose wrinkling up in disgust as she kept her head ducked down. Fighting the urge to gag, she stepped further into the fast food joint. She was dressed in Lulu Lemon black leggings and a black hoodie to match, despite the warm summer air that hung outside and clung to her skin still. Her hood was pulled up, brown hair tucked behind her ears with a black baseball cap on. She refused to remove her black sunglasses. She had never stepped foot in the establishment, despite it being a regular haunt of her brother, Dominic. The DeWitt family could afford finer meals, she never understood why he stooped to this drivel.
The floor felt sticky beneath her athletic shoes. "Ugh.." She whined under breath. Did they not clean the floors here? The smell of grease and sweat infiltrated her nose, but the smell of meat is what really overpowered it all, drowning out the rest. Against her will, drool pooled in her mouth. This condition of hers, this sickness, was just so annoying. Before her brother had sunk his teeth into her shoulder and she was a normal girl, she avoided meat most of the time, finding the taste unappealing as well as wanting to keep her figure slim. Bianca's eyes flickered around the scene. Her heart sunk when she realized it was absolutely packed. A look of disgust flashed on her features when someone bumped into her. Thankfully, her odd get up concealed most of her features. On top of that, she recognized some kids from school. Bianca pulled the baseball cap further down to conceal as much of her face as she could, shying away from everyone as she scanned for a table.
Realizing there was no wait staff here, she begrudgingly made her way up to the counter and ordered herself four burgers. With the cheap tray, she found an empty spot near a window. For a long moment she merely stared at the food, willing herself to get up and get the hell out of there and enjoy a smoothie instead. Her stomach growled loudly in protest, effectively keeping her sat.
"Hmph," came a little whimper as she opened the plastic packaging around the plastic knife and fork she grabbed near the condiments. Opening the paper around the first burger, she began to cut it in half and cut the burger into bite size pieces like one would a steak. She slipped into her habits then, forgetting her incognito mission. No elbows on the table, back straight, and sitting fully upright as she brought the fork to her mouth with the first bite.
