03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?

PERSONALITY
Likes: The beach, sunshine, eating red meat preferably cooked rare or close to it, dancing Dislikes: Cold weather, cats, vegetables Strengths: Can match the vibe of a crowd making it easy for her to fit in with basically any type of social group, graceful, open-minded Weaknesses: Young and can be naive, gets distracted easily, can't decide what she wants in life, susceptible to being influenced by others
General personality: Kenna was once a bright and bubbly young lady who made friends easily and laughed often. Since the death of her mother though she is feeling lost and trying to figure out who she is without her mom, what she wants in life, and finding a place to belong. She can be moody and quick to anger, she seems to always be hungry, and she is much more willing to try more risky or dangerous behaviors than she ever had before. She attributes this to losing her mom but also has a lot to do with her werewolf nature (something she hasn't discovered during the time this app was written). She's in an experimental phase of her teenage years. Some days she's soft and sweet both in nature and appearance while others she prefers a more hard core look and an attitude to match.
HISTORY
Education: Current HS student Years in Sweetwater: 0, just arrived Family Members: Sookie Herveaux - Mother (deceased) Harland Shaw - Father Unknown extended family.
General History: Kenna never knew her father before arriving in Sweetwater. Though she had asked about him a few times, her mother who raised her as a single mom, never really wanted to talk about him very much. The only thing she knew about him was that his last name was Shaw and that her mother had made sure her daughter had his surname. Kenna never really understood why it mattered so much so her. Kenna also never knew any of her relatives. No grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. Nothing from either side. It was her and her mom against the world. They lived near the beach in California and Sookie worked hard to support her and her daughter but was never qualified for much more than waitressing. Kenna spent her time with her friends, usually on the beach surfing, hanging out in the arcade, or going to the mall.
Life was good. Until it wasn't. Her mom got sick, some type of bone cancer but Kenna never understood the details. Just a few months after her diagnosis Sookie passed away, leaving Kenna all alone. A few days before her death, realizing that things weren't looking good, Sookie finally told more about her father. His name was Harland and he lived in a small town in Colorado named Sweetwater where Sookie had met him. Kenna didn't get much more information than that. It was almost immediately after her mom's funeral that Sookie left, buying a bus ticket to head to Colorado. Given that she was underage she had to be quick about it because she was about to be put into a foster home.
And this is where our story starts, with Kenna getting off the bus in Sweetwater with little more than a dufflebag and a backpack, still unaware of the monster that lives just under her skin. OOC
