General personality: Kota is a well liked teen for the most part at least to the level that her peers usually seek her out for advice. She's known for her problem solving which sometimes can backfire with over thinking or second guessing. Kota is a social butterfly is known to be involved with a lot of town functions or school programs, she goes to all the football games, and is all about school pride.

General History: Dakota is the second oldest sister of four, her father is a Bartlett which makes Dakota some small town royalty also he runs the second largest dairy farm but also is involved with the Bartlett Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch which seems to be employed by mostly Bartlett's. He married right out of high school to another local and Native American woman, her mother's family is relatively small but have always had roots in Sweetwater.
Always preferring to be called Kota, she's lived a quiet life always working with her hands on the Bartlett's various farms even running her own little thing with goats. She knows after high school she wants to go to school to be a teacher, she's kept it all hush hush around her Father waiting until you know she's accepted somewhere but her Mother supports it joking that as long as she comes back to Sweetwater to teach.
Surrounding her knowledge of what happened to her cousin Penny Bartlett, well as typical of the Bartlett family it's all kinda ignored by layers of hard looks and pride and she was safely home anyways why make a fuss? Kota really doesn't know the truth and she hasn't ever raised a muss about wanting to know.
