After their play on Snapchat and agreeing to a date; Callie couldn’t believe just how long it seemed to take the time to pass and bring Saturday to be. She hadn’t gone on an actual, ‘proper date’ in… she couldn’t even remember. And the fact that she had finally been asked out on a date, and by her principal no less; made it all so thrilling. Still, Callie kept the date to herself, not being foolish enough to let anything out to even her closest of friends.
But, keeping it to herself did leave her solo on her throwing and outfit together. Jack (she got such a rush every time she thought his name, feeling so naughty when she didn’t refer to him as Principal Hollifield) had been rather tight lipped about his plans for them, so she just had to try and make sure her outfit was a bit flexible. He’d said skirt or pants, and nice but not overly formal. There was no telling just what he had planned for them, and she was looking forward to finding out.
By Friday night, she was still trying on different outfits and finally caved and dragged her sister in to help her pick. After two hours and lots of laughing later; Kota had helped Callie decide on a nice pair of light wash jeans with some cut outs at the knees and on her upper left thigh, a corset top in a beige sort of blush that had some white lace overlay, and a floral patterned open toe shoes with a bow above her toes. She then added a cute necklace, a turquoise denim jacket and her white purse. And while Kota was curious to know about this mystery date, she didn’t press when Callie got tight lipped.
It was a little after 1 in the afternoon and Callie was putting the finishing touches on her hair, it was down and lay in soft beachy waves, she opted for a minimalist makeup look, and applied a soft spritz of her perfume, the citrus, vanilla and coffee notes wafting in the air everywhere she stepped. She had always preferred the fruity scents versus the floral ones. She had just pulled her jacket on when she got a notification from Snapchat, her heartbeat racing with excitement.

| Yes Sir, I’ll be there
Callie sent the message and grinned, giving herself another once over in the mirror before she grabbed the keys to her old truck. It didn’t take long for Callie to get to the dead end street, and she gave a careful glance around before she parked and got out of her truck, trying to make sure she hadn’t seen anyone in the area to see as she locked her truck and approached Principal Hollifi- no; Jack’s vehicle. Her cheeks were lightly blushed, but the smile… her smile was positively enchanting.
