03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
Brooks was a hard worker and he spent his time at the farm doing more than just training horses. Some of what he did was in his job descriptions and some of it wasn't but Brooks didn't mind, he liked being helpful and he liked the atmosphere. He was in the middle of grooming a roan stallion. He had just finished brushing him and was working on cleaning out his horseshoes when he heard footsteps and looked up.
His smile brightened instantly at who it was. "Juniper! Hey!" he said with a brilliant grin and a sparkle in his eyes. The two had become friends when she was still considering even moving to Sweetwater and had remained so ever since. "I heard a rumor you had a date last night," he said playfully, though wasn't sure if it was actually true or not. He raised a brow as if asking her to confirm if was fact or truly just a rumor.

hands stuffed in the pockets of her vest, juniper almost skipped through the threshold of the barn. her eyes wandered to the man and horse in the aisle, elated to find it was brooks. before she could greet him, his gaze met hers and he made his hellos. his comment caught her off guard, coming to a halt just a few feet away.
“who told you ‘bout that?” juniper retorted, cocking her head to the side. “jus kiddin’. no date for me.” the woman finally pulled her hands free, stepping forward to pet the stallions neck, peaking down at him. “how’s things today, then? looks pretty slow.”

For a moment Brooks was excited to hear the tea on how her date went, only to be told that whatever rumor he had heard was false. Darn. He chuckled and smiled as she came over to stroke the stallion who seemed perfectly content with the contact as he lowered his head and nudged her lightly with his nose.
"Ya, it is. Though I imagine it's because of the cold. I bet it picks up again come spring. Not everyone can cut it out in the snow I guess," he said with a joking grin. "You got any students scheduled today?" he asked.
