After yet another successful night of partying without her parents finding out, Callie found herself in the back of someone’s truck waiting on an order of food at Muchies Burgers. It was one of the few places one could grab food and sober up before going home. Though Callie herself didn’t need to sober up, she was just needing a bite to eat before she snuck back home. She pulled back her long, light brown hair and took a nice deep breath in. The hair was a mixture of fast food and fry oil, but it could always be worse. Last week she was driving someone’s car home for them when they ended up getting sick in the backseat, it took all her self control not to get sick herself. Instead they had to stop at the gas station and clean up the vehicle, then drive with he windows rolled down. She definitely didn’t want to experience that again.
Callie stood up to stretch her legs while waiting for her food. Dark wash jeans were paired with a red crop top and grey flannel, and her favorite pair of worn white converse completely her ensemble for the evening. She pulled her phone out to open whatever social media app could keep her attention while she waited for the food, but everything was relatively boring. So back into her pocket the phone went and she leaned against the truck, checking out the other vehicles to see who else of interest might be there. She spotted a familiar blonde and waved. Aside from running into one another at these parties, Callie hadn’t really spent much time with the female, but she always thought she was fun to hang with at parties. Alexis Vanderson was a part of one of the founding families as well, and thankfully from what she could tell; not one to go running her mouth to everyone about seeing Callie out partying. That much, she could appreciate.

Alexis was starving. She also had definitely had someone else drive her over to the popular post party hang out spot because she was far too intoxicated to risk driving...not to say she hadn't tried. She had definitely had her keys taken forcefully away from her. Now she was wandering around the lot in her short pink dress that made her look quite a bit like Barbie, no shoes, and a container of french fries in her hand.
She spotted the wave from Callie and with an enthusiastic wave back she approached the girl and leaned against the truck beside her. They weren't exactly friends but Callie was always a good time at all the parties they saw each other at. "Have fun tonight?" she asked Callie, her words slurring slightly. She wasn't as intoxicated as she had been an hour before but it was still lingering.

Callie was actually a little surprised when Alexis wandered over to where she was at, though she didn’t mind the company. She noted the slur in Alexis’ speech and chuckled a little. “Apparently not as much fun as you had, how are those fries treating you?” She asked with a raised brow, definitely looking forward to her own order coming out. She had decided on a cheese burger with onion rings and a banana milkshake tonight. Thought she wasn’t chowing down to soak up alcohol, she was just hungry after partying.

Alexis chuckled and playfully but lightly pushed against Calliope's shoulder. "It was a fun night! Rarely isn't though, am I right?" she said with a laugh that was a bit too loud for the less than funny comment. "Oooo," she said, leaning a bit closer to Callie. "The fries are amazing! Do you want some?" she asked, holding out the container of friends in case Callie wanted to grab a couple just as she took a bite of another one. Nothing like fried potatoes to soak up the alcohol in her belly.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, she asked, "Why don't you drink?" It was spoken with unintentional bluntness but she had noticed over all the parties she'd been at that Callie never seemed to drink, or not that she noticed anyway. "Are you religious or something?" she asked. "Or afraid of breaking the rules?" she asked with a little teasing grin.

Drunken Alexis’ laughter and smiles were infectious, and Callie couldn’t help but find herself, grinning and amused. These were the moments she enjoyed the most after nights of partying; the calming down, yet still entertaining and fun in itself time with other party goers. Though it was a first for her to be sharing in this ritual with Alexis. “Oh, absolutely! A night is what we makes it, no point in making it boring or anything less than fun.” She mused with a smile, then was taken a little by surprise at Alexis’ offer. Callie accepted a fry and couldn’t help but nod in delight as the perfectly salted and fried potato flavor rolled around her mouth. “The fries are never disappointing from here.” She said with a sigh, then perked up as the server brought out her own food, she gave him a $10 tip and immediately enjoyed one of the crispy onion rings. It was just what she was needed.
Callie held out the onion rings to Alexis, and quirked a brow as she heard the unexpected question. It wasn’t that people didn’t ask, she just generally didn’t care enough to engaged in the conversations regarding it. She started to shrug, when she heard Alexis’ following remark and the slightest flash of outrage flickered in her eyes. “Shit, it has nothing to do with that… I experimented with alcohol when I was much younger than I ought to, and nearly died from alcohol poisoning. My dad went a little ‘over-protective’ for a while and wouldn’t even keep any in the house, so I just made a promise that I would street clear of it… Alcohol isn’t my preferred vice anyway.” She brushed a strand of hair from her face and looked back to Alexis with a grin. “I’d say lust is more my cardinal sin.” Callie admitted with a chuckle, taking a bite from her burger and doing a little ‘happy dance’ as she chewed.

As it turned out, Calliope was fun. What a shame that Alexis was only just noticing that now. They could have been friends for a while. Alexis watched as the server walked away with his new tip. She cocked her head as she watched him. He had a really cute ass. But she was soon brought back to the present not by anything that Calliope was saying but by the offer of an onion ring which she happy accepted. They were clearly fresh, almost too hot to eat and Alexis hummed in a satisfied way as she took a bite. So tasty.
Alexis loved to drink. A lot. It was definitely high on her 'vice-list', but even with as drunk as she often got she had never had alcohol poisoning before. She didn't look overly sympathetic upon hearing Calliope's past but was at least glad it wasn't for religious reasons. Still, it sounded like it would be fun to drink with her. Maybe one day she'd convince her but she didn't really care that much at the moment.
However, at the mention of lust being her cardinal sin, Alexis noticeably perked up. "Guuurrrl!" she said excitedly. "Me too. As much as I love drinking, I'd much prefer sex if I had to choose between the two. Do you have a boyfriend or anything?" she asked. "Girlfriend? I don't want to assume," she added with a chuckle and took another onion ring.

Callie enjoyed another bite of her burger, it was so good it was almost orgasmic. She chewed away, another onion ring after the bite of burger was finished and then she couldn’t help but find herself chuckling at Alexis’ reaction and response. “It’s just too fun to steer clear of. Plus, I love playing the seduction game.” She found herself admitting, though she dared not reveal too much. It wasn’t often Callie felt comfortable enough to talk on the subject, outside of her conversations with Kota. And even then, she omitted some details as to not get scolded by her younger sister. She took a sip of her milkshake and smiled a little, thinking of a certain man she was absolutely interested in getting her hands on, or rather; feeling his hands on her. “Not currently, I like to keep my options open. Plus,” She paused as she looked around, at that moment a groups of high school age guys seemed to be finding out who could fit the most of a solid burger in their mouth with ‘one bite’, causing her to cringe and roll her eyes. “I prefer guys a bit older.” The corners of her mouth teased a naughty smile as she looked back to her food, her mind now promptly in the gutter.
“What about you?” Callie asked, again extending the onion rings to Alexis.

Alexis munched away at her friends but with this turn in conversation she was much more eager to engage. Given how much of a flirty slut she typically was, she didn't actually get to talk about it that often. At least half of her friends were still virgins and the idea of 'saving oneself for marriage' was still a common ideal in the small town. Alexis couldn't imagine not knowing what your sex life was going to be with someone and then just marrying them anyway. Bonkers.
She smirked at the phrase 'seduction game', her favorite game to play as well. Their attention was drawn by the stupid teenage boys doing stupid teenage boy things and she chuckled at Callie's comment about older guys. "I don't blame you there," she told her. "Beyond the general stupidity of young guys, older guys just...know what their doing," she said with a sexy grin as she seemed to recall a specific memory. "You know what I mean?" she asked, her gaze refocusing on Callie. She took another onion ring but didn't eat it right away, absently twirling it around her index finger.
"No one at the moment," she said, trying not to think about Ellis D which was nearly impossible. She always thought about him. "I have to admit, the freedom can be nice sometimes."

Callie’s focus shifted back to their conversation as she took another bite of her burger and chuckled after finishing the bite. Mmmm, did they ever. “There’s just something so attractive about a level of maturity and experience in a man.” She said dreamily, recalling just how thrilling it was to be touched in all those right ways after being with boys who just fumbled around, groped and pinched. Just thinking about it was making Callie itch for some action. But she was currently playing the long game with her current person of interest.
“Relationships are nice and all, but I love the freedom of being single. The freedom to flirt and tease without someone getting pissy and upset. Plus, high school relationships either end in a big heartbreak, or marriage. I’m just not in the market for either of those things at the moment.” Callie laughed a little at her own words, shaking her head lightly and eating another onion ring.
“I’ve got interest in a few men, but I don’t generally let my promiscuous ventures become public, my dad would burry me in so much work that I wouldn’t have time for fun.” She said with a sigh, shaking her head and raising a brow to Alexis. “You and Price don’t seem to let that aspect of things suck away your fun, how do you do it?” Callie asked, genuinely curious.

Mmmm, just thinking about it had Alexis’ hand moving softly over her belly and down towards her thighs before realizing what she was doing and grabbing another few fries to put in her mouth. There were fun things about both older and younger guys but older guys tended to make sure she left feeling fully satisfied.
“It helps that we’re spoiled rotten and that Price just doesn’t care what anyone things. It also helps being the only girl, it means I can put a lot of blame on Price and come out looking squeaky clean,” she said with a little laugh. “Other than that, some practiced finesse. Being a member of a founding family also has its perks.”

Callie took another bite of her burger, then wrapped it back up and set it in the bag. Her hunger was satiated, and she wanted to just enjoy the conversation with Alexis. It was nice to feel comfortable talking about this subject with someone other than Kota. Especially someone with similar opinions on sex. Not that Kota was a prude, she just had different preferences. And again, nothing wrong with that, she just didn’t quite get Callie’s taste in men.
“I envy you for that. Being the oldest girl, I have to be on my ‘best behavior’ or my dad looses his mind and threatens to send me to ‘go live on the reservation’ with my mom’s family.” Callie rolled her eyes, shaking her head for a moment. She let her mind wander to Price for a moment, though not long enough to make her thoughts on the man enter the conversation. She raised a brow as Alexis mentioned there being perks to being a member of a founding family. “oh, do tell!”

Alexis' eyes widened a little as Callie explained her father's threat to send her away. "That's terrible! I'd just cry if my parents tried to send me away anywhere. How terrible, I'm so sorry. Well, at least you'll be graduating soon. Then he can't send you away...right?" Maybe he could but it seemed less likely. "At the very least you could move out to get away...and have a place to bring back and loooovers," she said the last word with a playful tone and shimmy of her shoulders.
As Callie asked more questions about what she said she gave a shrug. "Oh come on, surely you've taken advantage of it before. Our families are powerful with all sorts of influence. It makes passing classes easier for one. I'm convinced that there is no way Price would have graduated if it wasn't for being a Vanderson. Plus the cops will only due so much to punish you too. They don't want to risk all the drama that would come when our parents come to fetch us. It's easier just to give us a slap on the wrist and let us be on our way." A little sly smile lifted her lips though as she remembered the last encounter she'd had with a cop. The sheriff actually...mmmm. She shook herself from her thoughts and tossed the last few overly crispy fries at the bottom of the carton into the nearest trash can.

“Oh, I don’t take his threats seriously anymore.” it sounded rather ridiculous when he tried to say anything to her anymore, though when he was really trying to get her attention he’s make threats that involved ‘disowning’ and ‘cutting out of the will’, which didn’t completely stop her… though it did give her pause. More so when coming from her grandfather. She shrugged, then chuckled a little. “Ive actually considered getting my own place, after all; I turn 19 this month. It’s not like they expect me to live at home forever… right?” she laughed slightly, though more so for herself than for Alexis’ sake. “or, maybe I just need a place that’s my ‘secret love nest’.” Callie laughed and gave an exaggerated wink. Though it wasn’t the worst idea in the world.
“I mean, now that to mention it… I always seem to maintain passing grades even in classes I know I didn’t do great in. And I haven’t ever actually received a ticket, even when I’ve been pulled over…” She trailed off, as if only just now fully realizing it was due to her last name. Holy shit. “I feel so ridiculous for not putting that together before now!” Callie suddenly realized that’s probably why her parents never received phone calls when she’d get busted driving late at night home from parties. They’d always say they’d call her parents, but she never heard anything about it. She tossed her bag in the closest trash can and faced Alexis again. “I definitely need to take full advantage of these perks now.”

Alexis had never actually thought about moving out. There were times it was annoying to hide things from her parents but she was a daddy's girl and she liked living in the nice expensive house. Though now that she thought about it...it might do wonders for her to get a place of her own even if she stayed at her parents sometimes still. She turned 19 as well at the end of November and all of this suddenly gave her an idea.
"Oh hey! What if we got a place together?!" She said excitedly as if she and Callie had been best friends for years and it made sense for them to want to live together. It was probably just her drunken self talking. "We could split rent and really turn it into a love nest and we could make an agreement that when one of us has someone over the other stays somewhere else that night or something?" Was this idea getting worse or better? She couldn't decide.
She giggled as she watched Callie come to the realization that her name had influence. "Girl you've been wasting so much precious time," she said, gently squeezing Callie's arm. "You definitely need to be taking advantage of this."

Callie’s mind was still mulling over the idea of even renting a space just to have for privacy, it made a lot of sense to her. Especially when she considered how much easier it might be to have her fun without worrying about being seen. naturally she was thinking about someone specifically, but she dared not even breathe a word about him to anyone… he was her favorite dirty little secret for now. So when Alexis blurted out her idea excitedly, Callie couldn’t help but also look a bit surprised. This was their first time actually talking, and perhaps it was merely her drunken excitement, but did she seriously just recommend they get a place together? But more seriously, why did it actually make sense, and why did Callie find herself not hating the idea?
“Wait, I can’t tell if it’s you or the alcohol talking… but it’s actually not a bad idea.” Callie was almost surprised at herself for her own response, but it was true. Both girls were old enough that it wasn’t a crazy idea, they ran in similar party circles and had similar interests… plus, they could always stay back at home whenever they wanted, or overnight with a paramour. Now that a seed was planted in her mind, the idea just made so much more sense than she expected it to. If anything, her father wouldn’t mind so long as she agreed to still come home every so often, though he’d likely just be fine with the idea based on Alexis’ last name. Her father wasn’t immune to the charm of the Vanderson name, and often wondered why Callie and Alexis didn’t interact more being so close in age and such. He’d fully support this friendship, though it was best he not know how the pair came to know one another. She shook her head and chuckled, looking at Alexis again.
“You’re absolutely right. I might just need to start enjoying all the perks that come with being a founding family member.” She said with gentle shake of her head and smiled. Alexis’ gentle squeezing of her arm made her laugh a little. If one to witness their interaction, they might assume the two had been friends for years. Is that what they were becoming? “I might need you to teach me just how much weight a name can hold.”
