Arturo smiled faintly, watching as she was already adjusting to her new abilities. Some of it would come easier than others. He had also noticed women tended to master movement much more quickly. He'd always put it down to the fact that they often lived their lives with much more control already, be it physical or mental, and so the understanding of how to manage more came more quickly. But the hunger...it was different with everyone, but the first year was always tough. Though he very much doubted that after a week and once she understood how to find and collect her own meals, that Lorelle would endanger her siblings. Strong emotional bonds didn't go away, after all.
He looped his arms gently around her waist. "Now?" he teased, playing innocent and running his fingers through her hair. "Whatever do you mean?" Arturo leaned in to kiss her softly. "We learn what your preferred meal is. I teach you how to go about it without drawing attention to us. We'll start by traveling a few towns over this evening," he said. In the meantime, he would happily talk about whatever she wanted. The stars, history, him, death... Colored with a mix of laying together, feeding, embroidery, and minor repairs to the house.
