General personality: Lorelle is a bit of a siren. Not literally, of course, because she's a vampire, but she has this siren look about her. Related to that is that she's quite the sexual being. She lived through the waves of feminism and loves to be in charge of her own body. She's seductive and flirty. She loves that kind of attention. People are intrigued by her. She looks timeless, she looks like she's longing for something that is long gone. She's mysterious, but she's kind. She likes having friends and meeting new people. She can be a bit quiet and withdrawn, but she's also fun to be around, especially when you know her well. Lore has a bit of an old personality. She loves old music, old hobbies like embroidery and spinning yarn, and she loves to read and collect old books, especially from people she has met throughout her life.
She is caring, and that's why she gets along so well with Arturo Diaz de Frontera . They both share an ambition to help other vampires and keep them safe. She has a welcoming vibe towards other vampires, although she tends to stay cautious because she's not really fond of vampires that turn humans into vampires all willy-nilly. Being a vampire is not the blessing you might think it is.
HISTORY
Education: No formal education. She was taught needlework and music by her mother, and over the span of the centuries, she learned a thing or two here and there. She has learnt how to read and write. Years in Sweetwater: ±50 years Family Members: Long dead Sire - Arturo Diaz de Frontera Spawn - none
General History: Lorelle was born in the middle of the 18th century. She lived through the American Revolution and the independence of the United States. Her family didn't want to pay import taxes and buy items that were imported from England, which meant Lorelle and her sisters had to make homemade goods. Their family didn't try to be too political, but she and her sisters went to a few spinning bees. Here they would set up their spinning wheels and spun yarn that would later be turned into wool and clothes.
The outbreak of war in 1775 turned her into the head of the family. She was 25 years old at the time, but her mother had died and her father was at war, so she didn't have time to find a husband. She needed to look after her younger siblings. During one certain evening, she went outside to meet with a friend who was in a similar situation, but she never made it to her destination.
She was approached by a man. Long story short, he turned out to be a vampire. He was intrigued by war and had come to New England for that reason. Lorelle was scared that the war would claim her life, and her siblings would be left to care for themselves. Arturo Diaz de Frontera offered to turn Lorelle into a vampire. Of course it wasn't an easy choice, but the young woman accepted the offer. Once she had officially turned, she proceeded to take care of her family, until after the war. Arturo stuck around for a while as well, and the two kind of grew closer. They started a romantic relationship, which would develop more over the years (and centuries) and become more loose. Basically an open relationship. Eventually Arturo left, and Lorelle stayed to look after her family.
Then she realised she wouldn't be able to stick around, because her family would start to notice she wasn't ageing. She sought out Arturo, longing to reunite with him.
Currently, she's living with Arturo in his residence in Sweetwater. She helps with the coven, and shares Arturo's goal of keeping other vampires safe and protected. They have a loose relationship, caring about each other but also being fine with the other sleeping around.
