To say she was excited for spring and the warmer weather was and understatement. Iris enjoyed parts of the winter time, and of course what girl didn’t love the oversized sweaters that weren’t typically comfortable in warmer months? But with the weather warming up, they meant she could enjoy being outside again. She was already thinking heavily on all the different activities she wanted to work towards with Tank. And even a few solo. Tank didn’t do well with heights, so she doubted bringing her dog on a skydiving trip would be smart. Hell, she wasn’t even quite convinced it was smart for her to go on such a trip! But, that was the fun of it!
She had just spent a good two hours in lectures on successful business practices, wanting nothing more than to ditch class and skip through the quad in the bright sunlight. Though, she wouldn’t actually skip, she was talked of enough without adding other little oddities about herself for people to comment on. Though she did think it would be rather hilarious. Instead, once class was finished she scooped up her books, placed them in the workout looking grey over the shoulder bag, and headed outside.
Iris couldn’t help but grin as she took in a deep breath and sighed. Her hair had been up in class, the joys of them being unwilling to turn down the heat in the classes ‘just yet’. But outside…
Outside felt amazing.
So, without caring if anyone was paying attention; Iris peeled off her first layer, a navy blue sweater with the school logo on it, and tied it around her waist before letting down her blonde hair and shaking it out. Yes, she was very aware just how over the top she was being. No, she truly didn’t care.
She smoothed out her v-neck white shirt that hugged her chest a touch too tightly and sighed. Her bright blue eyes noticed a girl at the fountain, Not recognizing her she figured; why not introduce herself? Besides, she might have noticed the girl starting at her and she hadn’t gotten to flirt with a girl in a while.
So, Iris situated her bag across her body as she walked over to the dark haired girl sitting at the fountain and she offered a smile. “Hey, mind if I join you?”
