After a busy morning at work, it was nice to get off at a decent hour and come home to see the usual fun be had by the close knit pack. Gemma lived in on of the cul de sac’s in West Haven that the pack resided in. So, it wasn’t at all surprising when she pulled into the driveway and made her way into the house to hear giving children as they ran about playing. It was nice that even when it was cooler weather outside, they still managed to keep the kids entertained with things other than the tv.
“Are you going to play Gemma?” One child asked excitedly as she was stopped in the kitchen, chuckling as she nodded. “Maybe after I see if they need any help with dinner-” And the child asking was not taking no for an answer.
“You’re going to be a seeker with me, but no using your nose. That’s cheating.” Gemma couldn’t help but laugh, if only she could turn off her ability to smell at times. Still, she was a good sport and followed along with the child as she pointed different directions she was supposed to be ‘seeking’ people. She was being pulled into the living room, pausing with a grin. “Alec, are you playing hide and seek too?” The little girl shook her head at Gemma with a ‘tsking’ sound. “No using your nose Gemma!”
