03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
After a long and stressful day at work, Cisco found himself stopping at the local Gas N’ Go to fill up his vehicle. The jet black 2013 Escalade rolled up to a pump and he stopped, cut the engine and stepped out to pump the gas. He ran his card and let the pump run freely while he pulled his phone from his pocket. Esmeralda was getting her nightly phone call, these took place whenever she was staying with her mother. “Hey Princess, how was your day?” he asked, listening intently as the ten year old detailed the events of her day with her mother. He was thankful that they were civil and didn’t have any ridiculous drama between them. Aside from the laser removal he was dealing with for a tattoo of her name, it wasn’t even all that painful. He chuckled at the story Esmeralda was sharing with him and just simply enjoyed leaning against the vehicle as the tank filled. He looked a little out of place, in his crisp white button up shirt that was tucked into a pair of tailor made black suit pants that matched the coat hanging in the backseat, a deep burgundy silk tie was fashionably knotted at his neck, and his shoes were so well kept you could almost see your reflection in them. Cisco came from money and worked hard to get to his current position in the tribune, and one didn’t do that in jeans and a t-shirt.

Alexis had been at a party, a regular occurrence for her, and had started pregaming early too. She was tipsy. Okay she was drunk but not that drunk. Unknown to pretty much anyone was that Alexis had her most issues with alcohol when she was by herself. It was usually then that she fully overindulged. Tonight was no different though she was definitely too drink to drive and was a little unsteady on her feet.
The party had not ended but they'd heard of a different one and her and a group of friends had left the first one. She rode in the backseat with two guys while her two girlfriends had taken the front seats. She'd been sitting by the window when the guy beside her, Tyler, had started to stroke her leg. Having no particular attraction to Tyler, even when drunk, she'd ignored him at first before pushing his hand away when he got a little more bold.
They'd pulled over for gas and everyone had got out of the car. Alexis leaned against the side of the car while someone else started to fill it and pulled her little leather jacket more tightly around her in the chill. It was designed more for appearance than for warmth though and wasn't offering a lot of help. The guys had gone to the corner of the gas station to smoke, a habit Alexis found gross, and Alexis had watched as a pretty black Escalade pulled up and saw a hot older guy get out of the car.
She was quickly distracted though as the guys in her group came back just as the girls had gone inside to buy some snacks. Tyler stood right in front of her, too close, and she could smell the cigarette on his breath. She scrunched her nose and moved to step away from him when he stepped closer and pinned her against the car with his body. "You're so pretty," he said in her ear. Clearly he was trying to flirt but Alexis found it creepy. She tried to push him away but he was insistent on not moving and while she was still pinned he moved his hands down to her hips, gripping hungrily.
"Knock it off, Tyler," she said, pushing her hands against his shoulders but he didn't move an inch. He leaned forward and tried to kiss her lips but she turned her head and he got her cheek instead. He started to kiss down her neck while he hands moved up her sides and one hand grabbed her breast over her jacket. "Tyler, stop!" She insisted. He ignored her.

Listening to Esmeralda tell him about an exchange with some kids at school brought a smile to his face. While listening to her he noticed a group of teenagers getting gas at another pump. He noticed the blonde standing outside against the car, and couldn’t help but feel she looked familiar. Without trying to appear as if he was staring, Cisco kept an attentive eye on the teens. He remembered what it was like to be that young and he’d almost bet that some of them had been drinking. The thought made him shake his head, but he kept his focus on Esmeralda’s tale.
At least, he tried. When the guys walked back up it was clear one was making the blonde uncomfortable. “Esmè, I’ve got to run, I’ll call you tomorrow sweetheart. Goodnight, I love you.” He abruptly ended the call with his daughter and began stepping toward the pair, slowly at first but then more quickly when he realized he wasn’t wrong in his assumption of her being uncomfortable.
“I believe the lady said ‘Stop’.” Cisco said in a commanding tone as he wasted no time in pulling the guy off of her. The guy she’d called Tyler seemed pissed off at the interruption and tried to throw a sloppy punch. One Cisco caught with ease in his left hand, then shook his head. “Tsk, tsk. Someone needs to teach you some manners. He released the guy’s hand as he inserted himself firmly between Tyler and the blonde, who he now realized was none other than Alexis Vanderson .
Tyler’s friend tried to pull him back, but he managed to throw another sloppy punch, one Cisco side stepped and pushed Tyler against the vehicle, pinning his arm behind his back. “You’re going to apologize to her, she’s not just some object you’re entitled to. You will treat her with respect.” His tone was calm, but firm and it was clear he meant business. Tyler tried to push back, but Cisco didn’t budge. After a moment, he seemed to think better of the situation and mutter out a half-assed apology.
Cisco looked to Alexis and raised a brow as he released Tyler and watched him sulk away, probably for another cigarette. “You’re more than welcome to continue your evening with your friends… but I’d feel a lot better if you didn’t.”

Alexis had been distracted by the bad situation to notice the man moving towards them until he spoke. As he did they all looked in his direction. Alexis had hoped that Tyler would be smart enough to back off without hesitation now that there was an adult in the way but either he was too drunk or too stupid, or both, to make that wise decision. She gasped as the boy actually tried to punch the man and with Cisco now between them she made sure to keep it that way, placing herself behind the man as he dealt with Tyler.
His friend, Seth, had tried to hold him back but he certainly hadn't been any help to Alexis when Tyler was being an ass in the first place. When Tyler muttered his pathetic apology the two boys moved away from the car and Alexis looked up at the man who had helped her.
He was even more attractive up close but she had to admit she was a little shook up by everything that had just happened. She wrapped her arms tightly around herself and at his words she looked over towards the gas station where the boys had just met up with the girls who had walked outside and the four of them were chatting and looking towards Alexis and the man.
Chewing on her lip Alexis returned her gaze back to Cisco. "I don't have another ride," she told him hesitantly, feeling like she had little choice but to either continue with her friends or try to call someone. At that thought she pulled her phone out of her pocket and with a single tap at the screen she frowned. "And my phone is dead. Great..." she muttered.

He wasn’t surprised by the staring or looks shot in his general direction after the guy sulked away, probably embarrassed that he’d been stopped and made to look foolish. Well, more foolish than he was probably used to appearing. But Cisco didn’t care about any of that, he turned his attention back to Alexis. He might not be someone intimately connected with her family, but he wasn’t about to let some punk kids treat her like that. He noticed her hugging herself and gently ushered her toward his vehicle.
He stepped opened the backseat door and grabbed his suit jacket that was hanging in the window and draped it over her shoulders. “It’s not super thick, but it’ll at least help you from being chilled.” Though there was no doubt in his mind her action was more due to what happened and less to do with the temperature. He offered her a kind and soft smile as he fished his phone from his pocket.
“You’re more than welcome to make a call using mine, but I do insist you let me take you somewhere else to either wait for a ride or just calm down and charge your phone. I don’t feel comfortable leaving you alone here.” Cisco’s tone was firm, his gaze drifting back only once more to the group she’d be leaving. Then returning to her face with a much more gentle look to his eyes. “I’m going to make sure you’re safe.” He said with a nod as he opened the passenger side door. “Whatever you’re comfortable with, I just don’t feel right leaving you after all that.”

Alexis hadn't expected that he'd offer her his jacket but she accepted it when it was offered, draping it around her shoulders but not yet putting her arms through. It smelled like cologne and...man and the scent warmed her as much as the extra fabric around her. His soft smiles, gentle expressions, and comforting words made the man feel incredibly unthreatening and after what had just happened she found herself even more drawn to that feeling of safety than she might normally search for.
She glanced back at her group who were chatting in a tight circle and kept tossing glances back to her and the man. She couldn't place his name right now but she was sure she'd seen him before. She tried to search her memory for him but it was eluding her. 'I'm going to make sure you're safe.' The words warmed her even more than the jacket as something else stirred in her belly. She made up her mind then.
As he opened the passenger door she stepped towards the car, slipping her arms into the sleeves of the jacket as she did so. "Well, it seems I have little other choice," she said, playing almost as if she was begrudgingly accepting his help when actually she was more than ready to get the hell out of here. "Thank you," she said as she climbed inside the passenger door and sat down.
Only when he came around the other side did she speak again. "I'm Alexis, by the way," she said to the far too handsome silver fox beside her.

He was visibly relieved when she agreed to let him help her, though she seemed to present herself as annoyed. Not that he minded much, he remembered how annoying adults were when he was partying underage. He simply gave a nod as he closed the door behind her and got into the driver’s seat. He couldn’t help but chuckle as little as she introduced herself.
“Oh, I recognized you pretty quickly Alexis, but judging by the bit of alcohol I can smell, I’m not surprised you don’t remember me… Francisco Irwin, but everyone just calls me Cisco.” He offered with a smile as he started the car, reaching to click his seatbelt and raising a brow.
“I can get you home if you’d like, or you can tell ‘em where to take you.” he offered as he waited for a moment and the made a suggestion he knew he shouldn’t. “Or you can come to my place, I can make you a bite to eat to help you sober up while you charge your phone.”

Irwin! That was why he looked so familiar. She felt a little stupid for having not already figured out who he was but he was right, she had been drinking a bit. More than a bit. It was her vice. At least she wasn't so out of it that she couldn't think for herself or stand on her own two feet. "Oh, right, sorry," she said, reaching up to grab the seatbelt, her chest arching naturally as she did so though she pretended to fumble with grabbing the seatbelt for an extra second or two in case he was looking before she crossed it over her body and clicked it into place.
"Nice ride," she commented, taking in the interior of the escalade. She listened to his suggestions and tried to decide where she should have take him when he offered the third choice. She smiled gratefully, though internally she was filled with excited butterflies for just the potential to put some moves on this hottie with a body. "That's really nice. I'd, um-" she tucked her hair behind her hear acting a little bit like she was feeling shy. It was all a coy act and she knew it wouldn't last long. Alexis was far from shy but she wanted to make sure he actually got her inside before she did something that might scare him away. "I'd really like that. Thank you, Cisco," she said with a coy smile. "Besides, I have to admit that I don't actually know anyone's number by heart so I couldn't very easily use your phone..."

He gave a little wave of his hand and looked at her ready to speak, then halting for a moment to enjoy the way she arched for the seatbelt and just seems to be almost perfectly on display for his viewing. He did well to not let his jaw drop and just let his eyes quickly return to looking at her face as she clicked the seatbelt. “You’re perfectly fine, there’s nothing wrong with having your fun.” Cisco admitted with a nod, easing the car into drive and leaving the gas station in the direction of town.
“Thanks. I needed a change after the divorce, and I guess I settled for swapping out my car instead of dying my hair or getting a face tattoo.” He cracked a smile, hoping she could tell he was only joking about the face tattoo. He was much too ‘put together’ for that. He also couldn’t help but slip in the mention of the divorce, shamelessly hoping she at least found him worth flirting with. He knew he had to be practically twice her age, but he couldn’t help himself sometimes.
He smiled at her thanks, eyes on the road so as to not be too distracted. It’s wasn’t easy either, Alexis was absolutely stunning. And he sort of loved the site of her wearing one of his jackets. Though he’d prefer if she was undressed underneath it. His thoughts turning a bit more and he pushed them away, determined to behave because she was, after all; a bit intoxicated. He would never take advantage of that… Regardless of how badly he might want to. “Of course, it’s my pleasure to help, Alexis.”
Another five minutes and they were rolling up a lengthy private drive to Cisco’s home. It might not have been one of the mansions in town, but it was one of the larger homes in this neighborhood. He pulled the vehicle into the garage and parked, cutting the engine and offering Alexis another smile as he exited the vehicle. He walked over to the passenger side and opened the door, offering her his arm. ”I can check my office, I probably have a charger that will work for you phone. Lighting or USB-C?”

She most certainly did catch on to the 'divorced' comment, not that that would have stopped her even if he was happily married. It simply made it more likely that he might give into her youthful charms. Alexis was not a humble person. She knew exactly how hot she was and surely Cisco would be just as tempted by her as others had been, especially if she played her cards right. She laughed as his comment about the face tattoo.
"A tattoo, mmm yes please, but you wouldn't want to ruin a face like yours with a tattoo," she commented flirtatiously. She shifted in the seat, angling herself slightly more towards him though the goal was achieved as the moment caused her little pink party dress to pull dangerously high up her thigh, exposing her skin so high that only another inch or so would expose her panties...or lack thereof. She hoped he'd find out later just how little she was wearing beneath this dress. For now she acted like she hadn't noticed the way her skirt had ridden up as they drove to his house.
It didn't take terribly long, it almost never did given how small of a town Sweetwater was, and they were pulling up to his home. She let out an impressed whistle before he got out of the car and walked to her side. She bit her lip as he walked around, pep talking herself. If she was lucky then this night would turn out even better than she'd hoped for when she left her house earlier. She took his arm with a gracious smile and with a shiver she pressed her body tightly to his side as if the only reason for doing so was to get warm from the chill.
"USB-C if you have it," she said sweetly. Alexis Vanderson of course had the newest model of her phone and lightning cables were out. She wasn't so drunk to be toppling over, thank goodness, and had been an expert in walking in heels since she was twelve so that was not a problem. Still, she breathed him in as they walked towards the house, taking in the same scent that was all over his jacket. "I really like your cologne by the way, Cisco," she told him as they walked.

“Well, aren’t you just absolutely charming!” Cisco said with a grin, his attention falling upon her once again, unable to help but note just how high up her thigh that dress moved. Whether it was intentional or not, Cisco couldn’t help but glance, even fighting to look back at the road as he drove. Thankful it wasn’t a long drive. It would have been torture otherwise.
His trip around to her door was spent convincing himself that was he NOT going to look at her thighs as she got out of the car. He repeated it to himself over and over, and yet; it was exactly where his eyes drifted as she accepted his arm and slipped out of the car. He resisted the urge to bite his lip, and ended up doing it anyway when he felt her body press up against his side. Fuck. He thought as he guided her toward the house and couldn’t help thinking how difficult she was making this for him.
“Of course, I should have asked in the car, you could have used the charger in there.” No, he didn’t want to offer in the car, he wanted her to come to his home and for him to make some food to help soak up the alcohol. Something about Alexis was far too alluring for him to resist. He felt this need to take care of her, to protect her. “Well thank-you. It’s Sauvage.” There were a few things he absolutely didn’t care to throw money at, and one was his colognes. His current favorite being by Dior. He guided her up the steps to the door and opened it, pushing the button to close the garage door.
“No pets to worry about, and the kids are at their mom’s. So you don’t have to worry about making any noise.” Cisco shared as he flipped on a few lights and guided her to the kitchen.

She was quite proud of herself as he praised her. At least that's how she took it. She was very charming and it had served her well. A skill worth having for sure. She too was glad he hadn't offered her the charger in his car. It was much better of an option to be at his home. She took note of the name of the cologne, committing it to memory should she have need to know it in the future. She was a sucker for a good cologne and it was an instant turn on for her.
She had to admit she was relieved when he clarified that there was no one at the house for her to be concerned about, not even pets. Though she couldn't stop the cheeky grin from lifting her lips at his final comment. "Good to know that I can be as loud as I want," she said coyly. They stepped into the kitchen and the heat from the vents immediately made her feel more physically comfortable, well at least in one sense. "Nice place," she complimented him as he looked around. "A skill for a single guy not to have a house that feels like a bachelor pad. Wanna give me a tour?" she asked with a soft, inviting grin, as she removed his jack from around her as well as the thin leather jacket she'd been wearing over her dress that hadn't done much to make her feel any warmer. It left her soft, slender arms entirely exposed in her little party dress.

The way she responded about being as loud as she wanted wasn’t lost on him, though Cisco was doing his best not to show just how much she was affecting him. He needed to let her sober up. He was aware of rumors on everyone in town, it was part of his work as the editor to vet stories and sources to ensuring no false claims were printed, because heaven forbid he ever have to print a retraction. But even so, he didn’t need to run the risk of making a move and her not being of sound mind and judgement. No, he’d behave and make her some food.
He smiled as her praise, Cisco most definitely took pride in the look of his home. But he couldn’t take all the credit, he may have fucked an interior designer or two, and got some great pointers. “Well thank-you Alexis, I would love to. Let get that phone set to charge and I’ll give you the grand tour.” Cisco said with a wink, pulling out a charging cord from one of the drawers, compatible port built into the plug on the kitchen island. He offered her the cord to plug up her phone as he noticed she’d removed the jackets and now got to fully admire the dress. By itself it wasn’t all that special, but on Alexis; it was one of the most exquisite things he’d ever seen, because she was exquisite.
He extended his arm to her once more, not caring at all of one night think his mannerisms to be ‘over the top’. He was enjoying himself, and hoped to eventually enjoy her as well.

Mmm, what a gorgeous smile he had. She could easily melt into those warm brown eyes. She accepted the cord and plugged in her phone, setting it down on the counter and letting it charge while off. She liked the idea of having it not buzz and catch her attention while she was trying to seduce Cisco. It could stay off until she needed it.
She grinned and bit her lip a little as he offered his arm again and she took it with a smile, stepping closer to him than necessary again. It really was a beautiful house and she wanted to see it because of that, but of course she had ulterior motives, such as finding out where his bedroom was for example. "How long have you lived here?" she said, making conversation as the tour began.

The fact that she plugged the phone in and didn’t immediately attempt to turn it on let him know she wasn’t in any rush to try and find a ride elsewhere. Which in all honesty wasn’t necessarily a ‘good thing’ but it was definitely what he wanted… so good for him. He liked the way she was comfortable being closer than she technically had to be with him. He wasn’t about to complain, her skin looked soft and inviting and made his desire grow.
“Well, last month marked four years I believe. Though it’s been through more updating in the style and decor for the last eight months.” Cisco admitted with a nod, guiding her through an elegant dining room, formal living room, study and office. Some doors weren’t necessary to open, like linen closets, or the kid’s rooms, which were upstairs. His own bedroom was across from his home office. “I figured it would be easier for me to transition from work to pleasure like this.” He chuckled as if to indicate he was only joking, but it was true.
