03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
Welcome to my character plot page. This is where I'll put all the plot vomit. Feel free to reply here or DM me.
Who Bit the Moon ; Margret Sung is a 20 year old library clerk who had a total collapse of reality the previous year after several suspicious events. She has spent the past year in rehab and in a strict therapy regimen.
Below are a few roles I could see panning out in terms of relationships, but ships are by no means restricted to just these so don't feel like your characters need to fit into one of these boxes. Characters may also fulfill the criteria for multiple roles as well.
A Best Friend; Ideally, this would be a female character that Margret knew back in New York City that ran with her little band of misfits. Margret has not spoken to this character since her eighteenth birthday. It is likely that they were visiting during that time, and have maybe returned to reconcile what had happened to their best friend.
A frenemy; I can see Margret easily building this relationship for a variety of reasons. She could rub someone the wrong way either through her unearned confidence or maybe this character just has a little too much in common with Margret's negative traits. Either way, there is likely a mutual understanding here, but that doesn't mean they don't grate each others nerves from time to time. Likely this characters feelings towards Margret in her current state are complex and not easily digested. They might be happy to be seeing her doing poorly, or could feel totally guilt stricken.
The Secret Keeper; A friend that Margret would go to often for advice and would literally never listen to. This friend may have had some idea about what was going on with Margret during the time of her birthday as she would often use this person as a backboard to confide in. They would likely be more on the introverted / reserved side and able to keep secrets. I can see Margret still maintaining a friendship with this person even today.
A Mentor; I have a strong preference for an older-aged character to fill this role. It is exactly as it sounds. This character is a positive role model in her life and will likely help in shaping what kind of adult she becomes. Filling in for parents whom, while Margret loves very much, struggles to truly connect with.
Threadbare; This is a character that Margret would have had something of a casual hook up relationship with, but probably treated this person pretty crummy. It would have never been a full comittment on her side, an on again off again or she could have just been really inconsiderate to this persons feelings. Obviously it all fell apart after everything that happened. Must be female.
