The sun had already dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow across the streets as Iris Whitlock strolled towards the post office, her heels tapping softly on the pavement. It had been a long day—streaming, responding to fans, and creating content, but she wasn’t complaining. She loved the thrill of it all, even if it meant trips to pick up her fan mail.
As she reached the small post office building, Iris pushed the door open, the bell above it jingling softly. The place was nearly deserted, the kind of quiet you’d only find in the late evening, with just a hint of night settling in. She adjusted her oversized sunglasses on her head, more for fun than necessity at this point, and approached her PO box.
With a practiced twist of her key, the small metal door swung open, revealing a stack of envelopes and a few small packages—likely gifts or fan requests. She gathered them up, her manicured fingers lingering on the embossed handwriting of some of the letters. There was always something intriguing about the effort her fans put into these little tokens of appreciation. Some were sweet, others a bit over the top, but it was all part of the life she’d chosen.
Iris glanced around the post office, momentarily pausing as if she expected someone else to come in, but the stillness remained. With her mail tucked under her arm, she stepped back outside, the cool evening air brushing against her skin. It was moments like these—quiet, private—that reminded her how much she enjoyed this balancing act between her public and private life. Not that people in town didn’t know about her camgirl page. But apparently if you didn’t act embarrassed about it; people got bored trying to gossip on the subject. Instead, Iris continued walking, as she still had yet to purchase a replacement vehicle after her little accident and her apartment wasn’t all that far. Though, heels might have been a bit more ambitious for this trek. But she had been making content showing off the pedicure one of her followers requested.
