General personality:
Luciana is a vivacious woman with an intense lust for life. She has a difficult time reigning in her wanderlust, but can be convinced to linger for a while if she’s enjoying herself. Having watched most of the people she loves age and pass away, Lucy tries not to let herself get too attached to humans, preferring the company of other supernatural beings.

She has a knack for facts and a passion for history, having lived through many important historical events in the state. She loves to learn and to teach, he set her preferences to working as a substitute teacher as she moves and travels throughout the states. She’s also fluent in Irish, English and French.

Having moved many, many times in her life; Luciana has a love for travel and nature. She’s an animal lover, Lucy brings her cat (Lotti) and dog (Nessa) with her everywhere she travels.

She’s got a fiery temper and isn’t afraid to argue her point. When under extreme stress Lucy might feel pressured to resort to using her Keening, but she tries to keep herself in check. There’s also a level of somberness to the woman, being so aware of death and close to it; but unable to stop it.

General History:
1801, Killarney, Ireland:
Born to Liam and Maeve McCullen, Luciana was the youngest of three children and the only girl. ‘Little Lucy’ was heavily doted upon by her family, they weren’t very wealthy, her father worked in the copper mines and tried his best to give his family a comfortable living. The family was always very close with their neighbors, the Crowleys. Especially their son Sean, Cian and the boy were best friends. This meant that he was often rolling his eyes with Cian when Lucy was always trying to tag along and join their games.

But eventually the children grew, and where Sean once viewed Lucy as an annoying little girl; he suddenly found he was tripping over himself to catch her attention. The two grew closer, and eventually married when Lucy turned seventeen. A year later they had a little girl, Lise.

Lucy worked as a local school teacher, and everything seemed to be going well for their little family. When Lucy was twenty-eight, she was volunteering at a little town festival. Sean and Lise were waiting for her as the festival came to a close, but she never showed up. A mugger blocked her in a back alley and when she wouldn’t take off her wedding band; he stabbed her. She was bleeding out in an alley and fading fast, when she heard an awful shrieking and was approached by a woman with white hair and red eyes. Lucy had never seen her, but was quite familiar with the folklore in the area and knew she was seeing a banshee… that she was dying.

This Banshee asked Lucy if she was ready to die, and she wasn’t. Lise and Sean still needed her. And instead of her fading into the night; the Banshee struck a deal. Lucy would live on as a Banshee, and she would take her place in death. It seemed like an easy enough decision in the moment, but Lucy had no clue what she had just become.

Over the next few years, Lucy learned to steer clear of Iron and silver, that if she was highly frightened or stressed she needed to keep her mouth shut or she’d risk using her Keening (the Banshee’s cry). But the most unsettling thing, was to learn she could turn into a Banshee at will. Her eyes would turn red, her hair would turn white and she could pass through things (except for iron) and people, and levitate. It was frightening, but not so much as realizing every time she took the form of a Banshee, she would return to her human state healed from any wounds. She also noticed, she had stopped again. It was a terrifying time to be alive, as the country was facing the Great Hunger. A potato famine that threatened many families livelihood. It was during this time, many Irishmen were heading to America. It was at this time that Lucy knew she had to leave Sean and Lise. Her daughter was married and starting a family of her own, but Lucy knew it would only be a matter of time before someone started discussing her looks. So, she left. She took a ship to America, and left her family in Ireland, to instead find herself in Boston, Massachusetts.

For the next eighty years, Lucy divided her time in popular and busy American city’s. Boston, Philadelphia, Alexandria and then finally in 1920, Lucy found herself living it up in New York. This would also be where she met her first other immortal creature; a vampire named Lorelle Irving . The two appeared to frequent the same speakeasies and clubs. Lucy had never met such an enchanting woman. She didn’t know right away that there was anything inherently ‘supernatural’ about Lore, but Lore seemed to be able to sense that there was something unique and ‘not entirely human’ about Lucy. In fact, during a bit of intimate fun between the two; Lucy might have gotten a touch over excited and shrieked loud enough to shatter glass.

It was at this time that she confided in Lore, who eventually revealed herself as a vampire to her friend. Who’d have thought a Banshee and Vampire would make such good friends?

Lucy spent a lot of time with Lore, it eventually travelled to Europe for a good while. Writing letters to her dearest and oldest friend every chance she got. Lucy liked to surprise Lore with visits on a whim every now and then, always one to enjoy catching up with her favorite friend! During her time abroad, Lucy spent much of her time in different schools and even teaching in some.

A few years ago she returned to North America, spending a good bit of time in Canada before traveling the states. During this time she adopted a Birman cat she named Lottie and then a Chow Chow dog named Nessa. Her two companions go with her everywhere. And after getting bored over in Texas; the redhead decided it was about time she paid Lore a visit and found herself showing up in Sweetwater Colorado.
