03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?

Ophelia comes off standoffish and cold, and if people view her as such, she won’t deny it. As a firefighter, she’s seen her fair share of trauma and humanity, and she tends to keep to herself. However! She is only human and she could only speak to her cat so often before she feels like she’s crazy.
some wanted plot points —-
- bestie with the tessie: in other words, the friend that encourages all her rights and wrongs. Ophelia is sarcastic and playful with this friend because they simply just understand the meaning of “she ate that”. Ophelia hails from LA and used to be entrenched in the party scene, and occasionally, she likes to go back to her roots and go wild. However, I can see this friend being someone she also butts heads with; Ophelia + alcohol = a fun but unstable time. I could see a lot of problems arising from their drunken foolishness. If interested and your character is femme, I could see this relationship segueing to the next plot point too.
- god is a woman: Ophelia has recently come to realization that she may like women. She could pinpoint the very character that impacted her sapphic feelings - Shego from Kim Possible. Ophelia has had experiences with men, but she also wants to open up her dating life to women now that she has a new environment to establish herself in. She wants to take it slow due to her inexperience (she tells herself that but she’s actually more shy with women than men). Ophelia suffers from commitment issues (I mean, she upped and left her entire life, career, and family to move to a town she’s never been to) and at the time, she cannot see herself committed to anyone just yet. However, she’s honest about it, and if the right person comes around (or so she tells herself), she feels she’ll be ready then. Currently, she has chosen to maintain open relationships if she does find someone, but she is a jealous person (she’s typically monogamous). However, she doesn’t want to string people along her journey with her sexuality.
- public enemy #1: Above all, Ophelia is a hater. Anything she could complain about, she will. However, to her, it’s always within reason. Ophelia likes to keep to herself, but she’s met people that she thinks speaks way more often than needed. Occasionally, she likes to serve them the same annoyance they serve her. It’s difficult for her to change first impressions of people as well, so I could see how some of the issues she has with people are definitely one-sided. This plot point, in my opinion, can teach Ophelia a valuable lesson: people can change.
- work crush: Ophelia is a paramedic-firefighter so she’s rubbed shoulders with health care workers and people she’s helped all the time. I envision this to be an innocent encounter the first few times till Ophelia decides to indulge in some taps in town and stumbles into the crush - abandoning all professionalism for a drunk-hazed confession and putting her own number in their phone herself. How your character reacts is up to you ~
