General personality: Brandy is a skilled doctor, but could be seen as a bit superficial. She has an easy-going bedside manner for the most part and adapts well to most situations, but has no problem putting her foot down and demanding what she sees as necessary. She’s good with her patients and colleagues, but after four years living in town, she hasn’t exactly yet put down the sort of roots one might expect. She’s friendly, but it’s not quite clear that she has any friends. Anyone trying to get to know her better is met with an arm’s-length approach that has a gently dry, sarcastic sense of humour, and then Brandy is moving on to the next thing on her agenda, whatever that might be. A therapist might have a field-day with analyzing her defense mechanisms and coping methods, but Brandy is much too busy for that kind of introspection and unpacking. She seems to have no problem freely admitting the facts of her past–divorced, etcetera–but dodges revealing anything more detailed than the basics.

General History: Born and raised on the east coast, Brandy relocated to Sweetwater after her marriage ended five years ago. Her retired parents live in Maine and her younger brother is settled in San Francisco. She enjoys her work and the pace of life in Sweetwater, but the way she goes about living her life could be said to be slowly burning her out. However Brandy doesn’t quite have enough of a sense of direction to get herself re-focused and refreshed in general life terms, so instead she keeps doing what she’s always done–work hard, play hard, keep moving.
