A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
There are two opposing werewolf packs in Sweetwater. Neither like the other much but both are always eager and looking for new members in any humans that get turned, regardless of who did the turning. All try their best not to draw the attention of humans and keep their wolfish nature to themselves. They both run similiarly with Alpha and Beta wolves as well as sentinels which act as guardians to the pack and look for new recruits.
BLOODROSE PACK
Bloodrose is the youngest werewolf pack in Sweetwater, as the alpha and many of its members only moved to the area three years ago. They were pushed out of their old home in Wyoming by a threat of discovery from the nearby town and had heard of Sweetwater, hoping it would be a good place to settle down. Unfortunately, their arrival was met by push back from the pack that was already there, Shadowridge. Initially, Bloodrose intended to work things out peacefully, even entertaining the idea of merging with Shadowridge, but they were not welcomed. It was decided then, by the alpha, that they would stay and they would fight. They needed a home, and this one would be theirs.
Bloodrose, in general, is a young pack, the alpha having formed the group only four years ago. They have no werewolves over 100, and they do not have a lot of money between them. They reside in the South Side of town, most of them living around the area of the trailer park.
SHADOWRIDGE PACK Shadowridge is the oldest of the two werewolf packs. It was established 25 years ago right in Sweetwater. They have always been good about running in their fur inconspicuously and avoiding detection. It has always been a secure, stable werewolf pack. While Shadowridge doesn't prefer to fight, they will not back down from this new pack that threatens the security they have in Sweetwater.
Shadowridge, in general, is an older, well-established pack with all kinds of pack members within. They have experienced elder wolves who help guide the alpha and encourage the pack, and they are financially well off and are sure to care for one another. They reside in the West Side of Sweetwater in a smaller subdivision with large, multi-story homes.
THE COVEN While there are a few rogue vampires, the majority belong to the Coven. The town is too small to escape them and if you decide not to join then they still keep a close eye on you so that you don't draw too much attention to yourself and thereby risk the whole Coven's safety in Sweetwater. The Coven has been there for nearly as long as the town itself, having been drawn there when it was first establish and a new population was moving into the area. It was just the right size to avoid detection and still find blood for feeding. The leader of the coven is the ultimate lawmaker for the vampires and there are many enforcers who watch the town carefully and bring back any vampires who threaten their safety or secrecy.
