She really likes riding, especially trail riding. She does not like the placing in horse shows, because the people who place low are always sad. Fortunately, her father insists no longer insist on her showing, so she can just ride for fun now.

General History: Eleanor with born with Spina Bifida, and until recently she had been growing up alongside her more able-bodied twin sister, Andria. Eleanor has always felt as if she were not as good as her sister, and this was partly due to the fact that Andria could do more but more so because of how her sister was treated. Both of their parents had always been stricter with Eleanor and would punish her with harsh corporal punishment. On the occasions when they did punish Andria for something, it would be with a time out. Andria was even allowed to punish Eleanor, but Eleanor was not allowed to punish Andria. Every kid they ever played with, and every teacher they ever had, seemed to favor Andria. The person who favored Andria the most was their mother.

The only person who liked Eleanor more than Andria was their father. He would play with her a lot and spent more time with her than anyone else in the family. She would often go crying to him. She sometimes would be afraid of him when he molested her and when he got mad and punished her.

Eleanor started taking English riding lessons at the age of five. She loved it, and not just because she could feel the movement of the horse underneath her. She started competing in hunt seat equitation classes at the age of seven and not long after that she started taking western lessons too. By age eight, she was doing both English and western equitation. She started also doing gymkhana events, trail class, and both English and western dressage. She later started doing reining as well.

When she was eleven, her father started molesting her. When she was twelve, he raped her. This happened regularly, for a couple of years. When she was fourteen, she got pregnant and her mother found out and was very angry. She kicked him and Eleanor out of the house.

They moved, to a small house in the country. He did not bother enrolling her in school. He forbid her from riding, because of her pregnancy. When her son was born, she grew very attached to him. Severely months after her son was born, she got her very own horse.
