Likes: rock/metal/kpop music, teddy bears (cute things in general), white chocolate, spicy food, video games, rain, swimming, sports, science Dislikes: the smell of cigarettes, spiders, heat, scary movies, those who think they’re better than everyone else, studying anything that is not science Strengths: energetic, loyal, outgoing Weaknesses: impulsive, emotional, headstrong
General personality: Luna is your typical stereotypical teenager. Right now, she is trying to find herself and her place in the world. She is a bit rebellious wanting to do things her own way rather than following what everyone else is doing. She is energetic, and adventurous she would rather spend time outside being active than stick in one place relaxing. She is not a hyperactive ball of energy; she just likes having something to do. Though she will spend a lot of time indoors when an addicting new video game comes out.
She is feisty, she will stand up for herself or someone else if she seems them being bullied or being treated unfairly. She also tends to be impulsive in her decision making, she does not really think that far ahead when it comes to consequences of possible actions. Though she can be a firecracker, due to her outgoing nature she tends to be rather friendly to others when first meeting them. Unless they have already demonstrated their characters the teen tends to treat everyone the same and willing to help in anyway possible. That is until they betray her trust. If that is the case good luck getting her to forgive and forget. She might say she forgives you, but she will definitely not forget.
HISTORY
Education: Junior in Highschool Years in Sweetwater: 6. Family Members: Javier Ramirez, 56 (father not in Sweetwater); Caroline Portillo, 34 – mother (janitorial staff at the hospital); Martin Ramirez (14) and Naomi Ramirez sister (11)
General History: Luna was born the eldest of three kids. She was definitely a mommy’s girl growing up. Her mom was dedicated to raising a family, despite only being a teenager herself. She had always encouraged Luna to go out there and not be scared of the world and to be friendly to others. Her father was not as home as often due to work but he still tried to be a part of her life. It seemed like a perfectly nice household. When she was eight years old, she noticed he spent less and less time at home. At the age of 10 her basically disappeared from her life. Her mom had told her that he was not coming back but did not disclose the reason. Instead, they packed up their two-bedroom apartment and left to start over in a new town.
They had nothing other than the clothes and items they backed into their mom’s car. They drove and drove running on savings until they finally found Sweetwater. Though they didn’t have much money they secured housing at Sunny Heights. At the age of 13, she pestered her mom about the truth of what happened with her dad claiming she was mature enough to understand. Reluctantly, her mom told her he had cheated and found himself a new family, which he moved in after he kicked them out. This pissed the teenager; she thought her father loved them what the hell did that family have that they didn’t? She spent the next 2 years rebelling, going out when she should not have, ditching school. At the end of her first year of high school, her mom sought help to get her daughter under control.
She was pulled aside and after a very intense conversation she realized how much she was hurting her family, especially her siblings whom she wanted nothing more than to protect. She decided to get her act together, to prove that she could actually be something. The last thing she wanted was to be cast aside again.
