03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
Everyone at school had been invited, everyone, and even a few people who had graduated a year or two before. Blair was hosting a Halloween Party at the Whittaker Estate. It was a large and beautiful hope with plenty of room for anyone who might want to attend. Blair might not be the most friendly person but she hadn't left anyone out of her invite this year.
It was a costume party and everyone was invited to dress up.
Upon entering the manor, which had an open door policy, they would find elaborate Halloween decorations all over Blair's home. Some rooms were cute and fun and others were rather spooky. Food and drink were provided and the Whittaker's had even got Rosie's to cater.
Blair stood ready to greet her guests wearing an elaborate and quite revealing mermaid costume. Tonight was going to be perfect!
Aurelia honestly felt like she had nailed her costume but still it compared when she seen Blair's. "Yes working the sea creatures that uses shells for silly little cover ups Blair. I see you." She found she was slowly starting to be more of herself with Blair and that was good or so she thought. "Thanks for throwing this by the way. I hope only the fun people show up as well." She did not mean it really but she did not want anyone drab to show up either. "Ooh food, I'll see you later hopefully Blair."
Reece did not really dress up but he kind of wanted to attend the party just to see if anyone else did and maybe, well perhaps make some friends so he had thrown on a cowboy hat and made his way in with his head down. "So awkward," he said hoping that no one noticed him.
MJ was there. Blair had invited everyone in school. Everyone but her. The only reason she'd come was because Blair had had Rosei's cater, and Kate had asked MJ to go. Surely she didn't know the two teens hated each other. Surely.
Blair beamed at @aurelia and looked her up and down. "Girl, you look fierce!" She said, admiring the girl's costume. Blair wiggled her hips playfully as Aurelia commented on her mermaid costume. "You know I can't resist an excuse for a party." She said with a grin to her friend.
"You know it!" She said to Aurelia as she said she'd see her later. It was then that Blair saw @reece enter the house and she made her way towards him. She touched the rim of his hat and smiled. "Well hey there cowboy. Welcome to the Whittaker Estate."
Was she talking to him? Reece took a minute to look around until he realized that she had to be talking to him. "Oh hey mermaid." He shook his head yeah definitely a mermaid. "What is up?" He was not firing on all cylinders at all when it came to conversation but he just sighed. "I just mean nice party is all."
Why had she touched his hat? "Thanks for inviting me."
Costume parties were lame, but Hunter never missed a chance to drink his face off. He was too poor to get a costume, but he had showered, and put on clean clothes - jeans and a black shirt - and he was sure that would garner enough comments. His hair was styled with gel, and he had stolen some of his sisters eyeliner to out around his green eyes, enhancing them quite nicely if you asked him. It wasn't much, but he'd think of something if Blair made a comment about his lack of costume.
Letting out a low whistle as he approached the estate, he grinned and entered the house. Catching sight of the hostess, he slunk up towards her. "Damn, woman. Good thing you're of age, or I'd have to call you jail bait." Winking at her, he moved to nudge her, glancing towards the younger boy and Aurelia. Cocking an eyebrow, Hunter frowned slightly as the other girl walked away, his eyes finding her ass, and enjoying the way the costume clung to her curves. Turning his attention back to Blair, "Where's the booze?"
He guessed he could call himself that now. He’d been in school for a couple of weeks now while he lived with Brodie - and he hadn’t really made friends yet. He was too shy for that at the moment given he was usually the smarter, quiet kid in the back if he wanted to be honest about it.
He’d convinced himself to go to the party despite his misgivings about it though. What was the worst that could happen? If he was going to live here he had to make friends or he’d go stir crazy at home every night with just the sheriff for company. (No offense Brodie, he thought to himself)
Mike had an old leather jacket so he’d just gone with that simple greaser look that made for an easy - though maybe not thoroughly original costume. “God, I hope this actually looks ok...” he murmured as he arrived and took a look around.
Damn was the whole school basically here? Talk about a lot of kids.
@reece was cute and awkward, it made her grin. How adorable. She smiled at him. "Of course. I wouldn't forget you." She said with a little wink.
That was when @hunter entered and her gaze lit up with a fire, part of her wanted to despite him because of his disgusting habits and bad reputation, but it was exactly that reputation that also made her curious about him, somehow drawn to him. She smirked at his comment, definitely not shying away from it. Of course she loved the attention. She saw the way his gaze was drawn towards Aurelia and she found herself wanting to keep that attention for herself. "Come on, I'll show you." She said in response to his question.
@michael then entered and she happened to see him come in. She twiddled her fingers in a little wave of greeting before turning her full attention back to Hunter. She looked him up and down as they walked, taking in his costume, or lack of it. "Who needs a costume when you look so good without one." She commented flirtatiously. They moved into the kitchen where they was spiked punch and a cooler of canned beers. She had better options to offer, but perhaps she was just biding her time, deciding when to play her cards.
She watched Blair start to network and smiled. Blair was good at what she did and no one could deny that and even if they tried they would be a fool to think otherwise. She spotted the younger kid who looked just as uncomfortable as the boy that Blair was picking on and made her way over.
"You okay?" she asked @michael. "I like your leather jacket it's very John Travolta of you." She would not blame the kid if he had no idea who John Travolta was for she barely knew herself.
Rubbing his hands together as she prompted him to join her, Hunter glanced again at @aurelia, wondering if she had the same reservations about him as @blair. He smirked to himself, also giving a little wave to Michael, but it was accompanied by a mocking expression. What kind of party had 16 year olds? He knew from experience that they couldn’t hold their liquor, and usually needed to call their mommy to go home. The party had barely started and he was already over the under age kid being here.
“You flatter me.” He responded, fanning his face, and batting his eyelashes. He did look damn good, but it took so much effort to put on clean clothes and shower that it was reserved for special occasions like tonight. At least now if he hooked up with anyone, his junk wouldn’t smell funky. He moved past her and looked at the punch, and the cooler and then leaned against the counter. “Please tell me you have better shit than this.” He said with a crooked grin, his gaze lingering on her cleavage.
MJ was in the kitchen. She was the caterer, after all.
She kept a quiet presence, arms folded across her chest, as her eyes observed @blair entering with @hunter. It took every ounce of self-control to keep from rolling her eyes.
MJ didn't say anything, but she also didn't try to hide the fact that she was watching and listening to them.
He didn’t really know her he realized. But she did seem pretty... Interesting. Though he wasn’t about to pay attention to the mocking expression the other guy gave. He didn’t really care what he was going to do or say - he wasn’t there to drink if anything he wanted a smoke.
He knew better than to right now though.
By the time he had registered Aurelia’s comment he jumped a little. Maybe too lost in his own thoughts. “Oh! Yeah, sorry. Just been a while since I was at a party,” he admitted. “But I got the invite so I figured what better way to meet new people in town?”
He then added. “Oh! Yeah. I love Grease. Jacket’s kinda old, but I figured it would be cool.”
Blair noticed @mj watching them and she gave her a little mocking smile. It was very amusing to her that the girl had ended up being assigned to cater tonight rather than joining the party. Blair hadn't exactly not invited her but she also hadn't gone out of her way to extend an invitation anyway.
She turned her attention back to @hunter with a pleased smirk. "I was hoping you'd ask." She said. "Come with me." She said and turned to leave the kitchen, heading to another door that led down into the wine cellar. She moved down the stairs and smiled up at Hunter, expecting he'd follow and kind of hoping he'd close the door behind them as well.
In the wine cellar was not only wine but a variety of other spirits as well. All the best stuff in the house. Daddy might get mad if he found any of it missing. She'd have to make it up to him later somehow. "Pick your poison." She said to Hunter.
She glanced at @hunter and shook her head. "What are you doing?" It was not that she cared but she was curious just what exactly he thought that he might be able to get away with. "We're all here for fun and not to get caught doing anything illegal." Seriously she did not want to get yelled at by her father. "Play nice why don't you?", she said with a slight smile.
