03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
Jasper felt a mix of adrenaline and nerves coursing through him as he assessed the situation. He was determined to prove himself suited for the job, and eager to get this young woman the help she needed. The fire chief's presence was both reassuring and a bit intimidating, given the man's reputation, but Jasper wouldn’t be distracted.
"Thanks for the offer, Chief," Jasper replied, keeping his voice steady. "I'd appreciate it if you could drive. I'll stay with her in the back to monitor her vitals and make sure she stays calm." He turned his attention back to Iris, giving her a reassuring smile. "Ms. Whitlock, we're going to get you to the hospital soon. Just try to relax. The fire chief here will drive, and I'll be right beside you the whole time."
Jasper could see the relief in her eyes, though her anxiety hadn't fully dissipated. This, he attributed to her concern over her pet. He gently adjusted the straps on the gurney, ensuring she was secure for transport. "You're doing great, just hang in there. We'll make sure you're well taken care of, and then we can have someone get news to your neighbor.”
He looked back at Ferris, appreciating the man's calm demeanor and experience. "Thanks again, Chief. Your help means a lot." With that, Jasper focused on keeping the woman stable and calm, grateful for the teamwork and support on his first day in the field in his new town.

Ferris nodded at the ask to drive. He felt a lot more comfortable doing that, honestly. A truck was a truck and there was only so much different in each car. But the back of an ambulance was unfamiliar territory for him. Once Jasper and Iris were both secure, he closed up the doors and climbed into the driver's seat. The position was a tad cramped, but he didn't bother taking the time to fix anything besides mirrors.
He got the emergency vehicle turned around and headed towards the urgent care, siren blaring. He let Ethan know where he was going, and the man offered to meet him there and take him back to the smaller truck.
