03.2023 | WELCOME BACK! Hello friends old and new! I'm so excited to welcome you all back to SITW! I've made some changes to the plot and added the ability to play supernatural charcaters! So come and check it out! I can't wait to jump back into this little town with all of you!
A strange history surrounds the town, it is a place where mysterious and supernatural things have been known to happen. The reputation of the town reguarly draws in visitors and newcomers alike. While some residents avidly believe in the supernatural, others are far more skeptical. What do you believe?
Mostly he knew it was a coping mechanism. He had buried himself in nicotine to numb the pain. But he also knew he had to kick it or he’d become too reliant on it. “I can do that, might take some getting used to though,” he dug into his pocket to remove his current package. “Someone used to tell me it helped with anxiety. I don’t know...”
Mike nodded again as he mentioned being there to talk. “I believe you - I mean, you’re not giving me reason not to. I know better - if you were going to blindside me, you would have already,” he explained. Then paused again. “Just let me know how I can help put him away when I can and I’ll do it.”
Brodie nodded at the boy. He was full of spunk, that was for sure. He was a survivor, that was obvious, too. Brodie only hoped it wasn't too late. Kids with childhoods like his tended to follow on the path set out for them by their caretakers. Brodie would have a lifetime of things to undo...but he'd do his darnedest, for Michael's sake.
"Okay." He said, nodding in reference to what he said about putting his uncle away. He hadn't, however, ever said he would do that. Sure, he would look into it, but accusing his uncle of something would mean having to attend court in a different town, and it could get long and messy and pull Brodie away from Sweetwater and force Michael back to face his uncle. That was...not what the Sheriff wanted, not right now.
He didn't tell Mikey all that, of course. For now he'd lay low and help the kid back onto two feet.
